Independent woman

Yesterday i had a deep talk with one of my colleague while having our lunch.
She have a master degree from boston and she's just 2 years older than me. And her post also quite high considering her working life is almost the same as mine, around 3 yrs i think in total.
She told me that the big mistake that she did in her life was taking a master degree and working in finance line. I was like "what the hell are u talking girl ???You should be proud by having those!!!"
She explained to me that she is proud of what she had until she realize that she looked down those guys which is not on her standard. She said, if last time her parents introduce her a guy with harvard degree / master, she would be die for that guy, but now, she'll just think : well, that's not a big deal...."
This really touched my heart, my parents exactly have the same thinking as hers. They never allowed me to continue my study for master degree cause they afraid it'll be hard for me to be in relationship.
Herm, somehow i do find it's quite true but i also dont want to be looked down by guys.

But well this all depend on how the girls think about it. Isn't it the higher you are, the higher the chances to find better ??? LOL
